A little bit about Chelsea Marie Abery!
Hiya, I’m Chelsea and as you can probably tell, I enjoy photography. I am currently a University student studying Journalism with Media and am a part time sale stylist at Levis – I’m a busy gal! But I am never busy enough to stop myself snapping a picture!
I’ve always had a passion for photography, My grandad was and still is heavily into his photography and videography. Whenever he went on holiday with my Nan or our bigger family holidays he took his cam corder (as they were called back then) and videoed the whole holiday as such, and when he wasn’t taking videos he’d be snapping away. He’d video the hotel room and what that was like, and video the pool and bar, and quite simply just capture memories. He’d always be getting pictures of people at their happiest and creating those pictures that were shared in photo albums for years to come. I just couldn’t wait to do that myself, so, one family holiday I’d decided I wanted to do just that, so off I popped to Argos and brought myself my first ever camera, it was a baby pink, canon Powershot and it worked a dream – for that holiday at least.
I’ve had many cameras since then! hand downs from my Grandad as well as new ones I’ve brought myself. Way to many boxes of photos I’ve printed off and lots and lots of used SD cards as well as a few camera films. After all these years I finally bit the bullet and have turned it into something proper special. Itschelseamariesphotography now up for business! You see, what makes me happiest is making others happy (as cringe as that is), so capturing people’s memories for them to look back on over the years and share with one another is something I would love to do a LOT more!
